Now, Republicans in Congress are proposing to completely zero out funding for public television, graduate student loans and other Amtrak, and other unnecessary frivolties in order to pay for reconstruction of Katrina-ravaged areas. It's amazing to watch them use a catastrophe brought about by underfunding government projects in order to cut more government projects. George Orwell would be proud. MoveOn is on it.

In case you can't read O'Rielly's pull-quote, it says "Moral of the Story: if you rely on the government, you're likely to be disappointed." Nice.
